Gadsden Mall announces December event lineup

GADSDEN MALL ANNOUNCES DECEMBER EVENT LINEUP
December 15, 2008, Gadsden, Ala. —Representatives fromGadsden Mall today announced the mall’s December event lineup: 
Wednesday, December 17, 11:00 a.m. – Southside Shining Stars Performance
The Southside Shining Stars elementary students will be performing Christmas carols in front of Belk.
Friday, December 19, 10:30 a.m. – Mustard Seeds Academy
Preschool students from Mustard Seeds Academy will be performing Christmas carols in front of Belk.
Friday, December 19 through Saturday, December 20 – Elks Club Cadillac Raffle
The Elks Club will be selling raffle tickets to win a new Cadillac. Guests can stop by the Elks’ booth, located in front of the Food Court, to purchase raffle tickets. The winner will be announced in January.
Now through Wednesday, December 24 – Photos with Santa
Guests are invited to visit Santa in his Winter Wonderland, located at Center Court. Photo packages are available and start at $14.99.
Now through Saturday, December 20 – Salvation Army Kettle Drive
The Salvation Army will be collecting monetary donations to assist needy families during the holiday season. The Salvation Army kettle will be setup at the Center Fountain.
Now through Wednesday, December 31 – Operation PJ Pile Up
With Gadsden Mall’s Operation PJ Pile Up, guests are asked todonate new pairs of pajamas and new books at the Operation PJ Pile Up collection bin, located at Customer Service, which will then be distributed to children in need throughout the community.
“We are thrilled to offer a full lineup of fun and festive holiday events this season,” said Vicki Lister, marketing director for Gadsden Mall. “While this is definitely a hectic time of year, we hope to provide our shoppers with entertaining events and activities to put everyone in the holiday spirit.”
