Funeral Set For Football Player Who Died After Becoming Ill During Morning Workout

    MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - A funeral mass is planned Saturday in
Flomaton for a Huntingdon College football player who died Friday.
    Freshman Sam Collins died at a Montgomery hospital after he
became ill following a morning workout.
    The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Flomaton High
School.
    Huntingdon officials said a campus-wide chapel service will be
held at the college on September 3 in honor of Collins.
    A Sam Collins Memorial Fund was set up at the school to help the
family with final arrangements.
