And it should be happened not happenen.  It seems that many “professional” do not know how to turn on their spellchecker.  If anyone watches NBC 13, you will find spelling errors almost every newscast.

I don’t mean to down play this but a child can’t be “woulded”  it’s “wounded”  you guys are suppose to be professionals, and should have spell check on your computer.

I hope the uncle had good insurance coverage. For those who would say it
it wrong to bring a claim against
a loving relative,think about this.
That child did nothing wrong. Can uncle say the same? Gun Deaths, Hunting Accidents, Accidental Firearm Discharges all have one thing in common.
Carelessnes, Negligence call it whatever you what it injures and kills far to many innocent victims each year.
Guns don’t care; but people are supposed to.

i belive the appropriate question would be why wasnt the safety on?...and if it didnt have a safety then why was it loaded in the first place? i keep a loaded gun regaurdlesswho is on the property, i however will not handle the gun with a child in the same room or in the house for that matter

What was that man thinking when he took that loaded weapon out of the truck with a child on the property?
