Both directions of I-20/59 blocked in Bessemer 18-wheeler accident

Traffic diversions are happening at mile markers 108 and 112 on I-20/59 in the Bessemer area this afternoon.

NBC13HD is told that an 18-wheeler traffic accident has caused a backup of four to five miles in either direction.

Drivers are advised to take alternate routes to their destination.
