Mewburn Humphrey was found shot to death in his Center Way SW home Wednesday.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—- Birmingham homicide detectives are following leads in the shooting death of 35 year old Mewburn Humphrey.
Humphrey was shot multiple times in his home at 839 Center Way Southwest at 11:45 p.m. Wednesday.
No arrests have been made and investigators do not have a motive in the case.
Neighbors say Humphrey often helped the senior citizens in the neighborhood.
Constance Taylor remembers how he fixed her lawnmower and cut his grass.
Humphrey’s murder is Birmingham’s 34th of the year, compared to one more at this point in 2008.
