MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - The state attorney general says an
arrest has been made in the eight-year-old murder of a Montgomery
businesswoman.
Troy King said 79-year-old Albert L. Wilding was charged with
capital murder in the slaying of his wife. He said Judith Wilding,
the owner of the AniMall pet store, disappeared from the parking
lot of her business in 2000.
King said Albert Wilding was indicted Aug. 15th. He was arrested
Tuesday and placed in the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
The indictment alleges that Albert Wilding intentionally caused
his wife’s death and the murder was done for financial gain.
