2 die in wrecks in Cherokee, Randolph counties

CENTRE, Ala. (AP) - Alabama state troopers say a north Alabama resident died overnight in a crash in rural Cherokee County.
   
The wreck happened off Cherokee County Road 7 near the Sandrock community just after 2 a.m. Sunday. The deceased driver was identified as 33-year-old Brian Lynn Jenkins of Collinsville.
   
In Randolph County, troopers said 18-year-old Lori Beth Adamson of Roanoke was killed when the pickup truck she was driving crashed on Alabama 22, about a mile east of her hometown.
   
The crash occurred Saturday night just after 10 p.m.
   
Troopers at the Jacksonville Post said both accidents remain under investigation.
