Tip About Buried Body Comes Up Empty

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. --- A tip about a body buried in the backyard of a Birmingham home came up empty Monday.

Last Wednesday Birmingham Police received information that the body of a white female was buried at 305 Carroll Street. 

Police used a backhoe and dogs to search for human remains without any luck.

This is the second time police have searched the property for remains in the last 18 months.

They didn't find anything the first time either.

Police wouldn't identify exactly which missing person's case they were investigating.
