Central Alabama’s economic outlook

Some financial experts believe we are on the cusp of another big recession.

Nationally, foreclosures were up 5% in October.  They’re 75% higher in the 3rd quarter this year than the same time last year.

Unemployment rose to 542,000 last week.  That’s the highest since 1992, when the economy was exiting a recession.

So how does central Alabama compare to the rest of the country in these economic times?  NBC13 HD’s Mike Royer gets the answer in his Fact Finder report.
