Adopt a Pet From TEARS in May at Reduced Fees

Birmingham– Lovable animals being sheltered at TEARS, Birmingham’s only Emergency Animal Rescue Service, need your help.

Visit Superpetz in Homewood every Saturday in May to see just a few of the many adorable pets available for adoption – and, during National Pet Month, adoption fees have been reduced to $25!

TEARS is the only emergency shelter in the Birmingham area that rescues lost and abused animals of all kinds and only euthanizes animals that veterinarians determine cannot be rehabilitated.

Innumerable animals have been rescued from abusive situations and nursed back to health.

However, the shelter is overflowing. Hundreds of dogs, cats, horses, goats, ducks, reptiles and more will have to be euthanized if money for food and adoptive families cannot be found.
